How to become a more Single Friendly Church: Next Steps
We hope the first Single Friendly Church week has given you the opportunity to speak about our work to friends, family members, church leaders, or colleagues.
If you have been inspired this week, we have some fantastic resources on our website and social channels for people to engage with such as our podcast, YouTube channel, blogs, seasonal and specialised resources and of course our 5 Steps Guide to becoming a Single Friendly Church.
If your church, or a church you know about, is keen to find out more about our 5 Steps, across the year we regularly hold an online event for people to dig a bit deeper into the details of the 5 Steps, to hear some ideas of what other churches have done and to have a chance to interact in a group setting.

It is aimed at those in church leadership and anyone who is wanting to champion single friendliness in their church. If you are not a leader in your church, we advise that you inform your church about the webinar and follow up with them afterwards. If you want to become a Single Friendly Church, you'll need them on board!
We will be discussing:
Know your community: Who is “single” in our communities?
Messaging: How to adapt church language to ensure everyone feels valued
Welcome and Belonging: How to welcome and include people coming on their own
Teaching: How to ensure teaching is relevant for everyone
Leadership: How and why to include single people in leadership positions
This event is completely free and will last around 60 minutes, with a group discussion and time for questions at the end.
