Belonging Conference - Workshops Announced
Our Belonging Conference is less than two weeks away!
We've got some fantastic speakers lined up for Saturday 26th September and a variety of activities planned – including a choice of six workshops.Whether you're looking to listen and learn, share your experiences or spend some time in reflection, there's something for everyone:
Morning workshops:
Spiritual Reflection - an opportunity to go deeper with certain scripture readings, in the style of Lectio Divina
The Church is a Village – exploring about community life
One Church, Many Experiences – listen and/or share about the experience of being single in church
Afternoon workshops:
Single Friendly through the Seasons - practical resources for key points in the church calendar
How to become a more Single Friendly Church – discussion and brainstorming
Personal mission – space to reflect on one’s own relationships and life journey
This is event is to explore how we can change the culture around singleness in churches across denominations, and so all interested in this are welcome to attend - from clergy and leadership teams to singles, not single and the curious!
