Launching the Single Friendly Church Podcast

We're delighted to announce the launch of the Single Friendly Church Podcast!

Our new podcast will bring you honest, insightful conversations on the issues that matter most for single people, churches, and Christian community today. Through in-depth discussions with special guests, we'll be exploring what it really looks like to build churches where everyone can belong and flourish.

And we're starting with a topic that matters deeply to every one of us, single or married: Friendship.

Why do we need friends?
with Sheridan Voysey

"Who could you call at 2 a.m. when everything has gone wrong?"

This question stopped broadcaster Sheridan Voysey in his tracks and led him on a journey of transformation culminating in him founding an organisation called the Friendship Lab.

In our first episode exploring Friendship, Sheridan joins us to share his story and explore why friendship is so important for all of us. We look at what we can learn from Jesus' own friendships, and how we can cultivate relationships that bring connection, belonging, and lasting support.

"A friend is someone I can talk to, depend on, grow with, and enjoy. [...] Forty percent of us want to deepen the friendships we already have, but we don't know how."

Sheridan now runs the Friendship Lab, the UK's first non-profit dedicated to teaching adults how to build develop meaningful friendships. We are so grateful to him for sharing his wisdom and experiences with us.

We pray that you will be encouraged, challenged and inspired to look at your own friendships in a fresh way.

Listen now on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, YouTube, Amazon Music, Pocket Casts, Goodpods.
