Webinars and talks

Our new 5 Steps resources are a great place to start to make your church more single friendly, but you may wish to go into more detail or receive personal training from our team.

Our introductory webinar 'How to become a Single Friendly Church' is now on YouTube. The webinar covers the key issues faced by single people in church, and offers practical solutions for your church, including an introduction to our 5 Steps programme and Audit tool.

We run two online workshops that look at our 5 Steps in more detail. These will be back in the autumn - keep an eye out for new dates.

Workshop 1: Language and Welcome in a Single Friendly Church. Autumn date TBC.
This interactive webinar will explore Steps 2 and 3. How can you adapt the language you use in church to ensure that everyone feels included and valued? How you can welcome people coming on their own and include single people in the social life of the church?

Workshop 2: Teaching and Leadership in a Single Friendly Church. Autumn date TBC
This interactive webinar will explore Steps 4 and 5. How can you adapt the teaching and prayer in your church to ensure that everyone feels included and valued? How and why should single people be represented in different levels of leadership of the church?

You may want to have a talk on singleness in your church, but need someone to deliver it. We're happy to discuss sending a speaker to your church.  We can cover a broad range of approaches, from living a full life as a single Christian, to how churches can better welcome and include their single members.
